actually this is problematic; if you set the X-Y origin to a bottom (left or right) point you zero off the end of the material (or as far as you want the cuts to go) which ensures you have enough material, especially if, like me, you set the rotary motor AND chuck BEYOND the physical max-Y range of the machine so that it is LITERALLY impossible for the cutter to reach the rotary axis motor (one less thing to worry about)
